We are passionate foodies, so our classic French-style petit déjeuneris much more than a piece of bread and coffee or tea. We serve quality, not quantity, and our menu was created with deliberate care.
You will be awoken by the aromas of freshly-ground brews delivered to your room, with a selection of three single origin and organic local beans, plus an Italian 100% Arabica. The coffee variety changes daily, hand-labelled for our guests enjoyment. Café au lait is in an oversized fine bone China bowl, other coffees & teas served in fine porcelain cups. Our tea is the highest-grade single origin Myanmar/Burmese — loose leaf, naturally.
Coddled eggs à la minute. Baguettes are freshly baked then re-crispened immediately before serving. (We prefer this to heavy home-made breads churned out in a bread machine — that is not our style.) Jams are small-batch Khmer tropical fruits, and French butter.
Our Khmer staff carefully set and polish your morning tray just before serving, delivered in bed or on the balcony at your specified time. If guests prefer an earlier tea or coffee prior to eating, that is also free. Fresh squeezed orange juice, at no extra charge.
